Welcome to Perspective Photographer
In photography, perspective can be defined as just about anything. While most literature classifies perspective as pertaining to warping, distortion, and the impression of depth, I look at perspective differently. I define perspective as the way a person looks at the world. Therefore, perspective is the way in which objects appear to the eye, as through the lens of a camera in this particular instance.
Perspective photography can include a wide range of photographic modes and techniques, some of which are listed here:
- Abstract
- Architectural
- Documentary
- Landscape
- Macro
- Nature
- Night
- People
- Still Life
- Street
In essence, perspective photography can be anything you want it to be as long as you are looking through the camera’s eye (lens). It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be how you (the photographer) perceives the world.
So step up and take out your camera. You are the perspective photographer such as I am in these pages. Remember, you are actually documenting the world (albeit a small piece of it) through your eyes and camera.
