This is the Fairy Iris as an abstract. The original photo was shot with natural lighting using the Canon PowerShot A610 in automatic mode. Global adjustments were done in Camera Raw and local adjustments in Photoshop CS6. The original photo was manipulated in Photoshop CS3 using the “Edging” tool which, apparently, is no longer used in Photoshop. After playing around with the edging and other tools, this was the end result.
